We collect the following data: email address, business name, stock and sales data you enter, and geolocation data (if you allow it). We never sell your data to third parties.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to operate the service: stock management, AI predictions, and profitability analytics. Location data is used to associate your sales with your selling spots.
3. Hosting & Security
Your data is hosted on European servers (Supabase, Vercel). Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. All connections are secured via HTTPS.
4. Your Rights (GDPR)
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, modify, or delete your data at any time. Contact us at [email protected] to exercise these rights.
5. Camera Usage
The app uses your device camera to scan products and receipts. Captured images are processed locally on your device and are not stored or transmitted to our servers.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: Stripe and SumUp for payment processing, MongoDB Atlas for data hosting, and Vercel for application hosting. These third-party services have their own privacy policies.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymized analytics data may be retained for service improvement.
8. Children's Privacy
FoodTracks is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
9. Cookies
We only use essential cookies for the service to function (authentication session). No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
